Images and text used on the Consumer web site strictly adheres to government guidlines. The consumer will always respect these guidlines to help protect the author of such images or text. The Consumer will always get permission from the owners of such images or text.

Sharing or posting a simple web link to pages where images have been posted publicly online by the copyright owner is usually not restricted by copyright.

The courts have ruled that internet users should be free to share links to material, for example photos or videos, providing the material itself has been published online with the permission of the rights holder. The right to share links however does not go as far as allowing users to share links that are designed to circumvent paywalls or other subscription only services. The concept of fair usage exists within UK copyright law, commonly referred to as fair dealing. It’s a framework designed to allow the lawful use or reproduction of work without having to seek permission from the copyright owner(s) or creator(s) or infringing their interest.
